The Three Tier Paradigm is how we go about figuring out what to do, We start at level 1 Theological Truths, which impact our Level 2 Philosophical Principles, which allow us to determine our Level 3 Methodological Models. This paradigm is at the heart of everything the Ministry Misfit team produces.

LEVEL 1: CHRISTO-CENTRIC THEOLOGICAL TRUTHS
The WHY we do what we do. We lay Christ-centered Theological truths as a foundation for everything we do. This allows us to remain grounded in Christ and His Truth regardless of the circumstances we are dealing with.


LEVEL 2: BIBLICALLY BASED PHILOSOPHICAL PRINCIPLES
The WHEN, WHERE, and with WHOM we do what we do. We think Biblically on the Theological truths to help us understand the world around us and how Christ would have us respond.


LEVEL 3: CUTTING EDGE & CULTURALLY RELEVANT METHODOLOGICAL MODELS
The WHAT we do. When our thinking is Biblically based on Christ-centered theology, our actions will be as well. These actions should be culturally relevant to reach the intended audience in a cutting-edge and effective way.


WHY THIS MATTERS
A minister's role is often a balancing act between staying Biblical and staying Relevant. This continuum can lead to Relevance being raised above or sacrificed for the sake of Good Theology. The Three Tier Paradigm allows us to stay Theologically Sound and Christ-centered, while still being Relevant.

When we start with Christ-centered Theology, backed by Biblically-based philosophy, our methods will be grounded regardless of the cultural context we are working in.
